Why plant a church in Canton?

The Canton area has an amazing history of vibrant Christian life and packed churches. As with much of the country, however, that image is slipping into the past, with a major spike in the local unchurched and under-churched population. Cherokee County has now fallen below the state average in church participation, and less than half of local residents have a church to call home.
